“I just purchased a pair of navy blue trousers but am struggling with what color shoes to wear with them.  Do I have to wear navy shoes?”

This is a great question.  Of course you don’t have to stick to the “old” rules of wearing navy shoes with navy pants.  We suggest a basic nude or metallic, like the copper one we have pictured, available at Nordstroms.  You can also wear a brown shoe if your outfit is more “warm” in color or a black shoe if the overall tone is “cool”.  Navy is a neutral color so if you are on the bold side you can even dare to wear a fun bright colored shoe.
