It’s 11:30 and you’re running into town to have lunch with the girls. You want to look put together, but not like you over thought it, so what do you wear? First do an easy half up half down hairstyle. Just pin the top and sides loosely with bobby pins. Put some fun eye makeup on, try an eyeliner in a color like blue or green. Then keep the rest of your

makeup simple. Throw on a long sleeve or short sleeve t-shirt and a pair of bootcut jeans. Add a belt, a colorful scarf and oversize earrings. Pick the perfect shoes to round out your outfit, depending on the length of the jeans you chose, maybe it would be ballet flats or ankle boots. You’ve just created an easy pulled together look that you can feel good in while you catch up with the girls.

Orange Steel Pony Top
Boho chic is back in a big way. Flowy skirts, feathers, gladiator sandals, beads – you can see it all in magazines & on runways. This orange top would be a fabulous addition to a bohemian wardrobe.
Pair it with a long skirt or over a maxi dress. Or choose a more rough & tumble look by pairing it with cuffed jeans. Then add these handmade accessories and you’re out the door!

WhichGoose Butterfly Hair Comb
Wearing Steel Pony clothing is so easy, you need an equally easy hairstyle to complement your apparel! When you choose a hair comb like this one fromWhichGoose, even a simple ponytail makes a big statement.
When the clothing you wear makes an artistic statement by itself, you don’t need your jewelry to compete for the attention! I found this simple bracelet – again with shades of orange – that would add some sparkle without overpowering

the Steel Pony top. DnJDichroicArtGlass uses heavy gauge copper wire and glass beads, reminiscent of sea glass, to create this boho-style piece.
To complete any boho look, you need a great big slouchy bag. I love that this one, by thingsSHEcarried, breaks away from the usual distressed leather in favor of painted linen. I choose this one for the red detail. I think that a little pop of analogous color breaks up the orange and keeps the boho look from “trying to hard.”

I’m sure there are a few of our readers out there that made New Year’s resolutions to drop a few pounds and are now experiencing some loose clothes. First off, congrats to you for sticking with a program and investing in your health. Now, secondly let’s talk about those loose clothes, especially jackets and shirts. Try adding a belt. A belt is a modern way to stretch those clothes a bit further before you need to purchase the next size (or two) smaller. Use a thin belt for cardigans and jackets, a thicker or double belt for blouses and shirts and either for a dress. There are so many different belts and styles to choose from. Try a twill, skin, or raffia belt in a neutral tone to get the most wear.
